A Small Show Breeder and Exhibitor
Shawdox Dachshunds was established in 1985 by Bill & Lindi Kershaw.
Today we consist of Lindi Kershaw & Karen Osburn.
Shawdox Dachshunds is an AKC Bronze Breeder of Merit. We breed outstanding miniature smooths which are bred for temperament, soundness and type from exceptional bloodlines.
Occaisionally we offer well socialized, home raised puppies and young adults to loving pet homes, on an AKC Limited Registration and a spay/neuter contract.
We also do all of the OFA Certifications (CAER Eye Certifications, Basic Cardiac Certifications, Patellar Luxation Certifications) along with PRA testing on all of show & breeding stock as suggested by our parent club, The Dachshund Club of America and required by the AKC Breeder of Merit Program.
We vaccinate our puppies at 6, 9, 12 and 16 weeks of age. Rabies vaccinations are not given until they are at least 16 weeks of age.
All of our puppies are also ISO microchipped and registered with Microchip ID/Buddy ID before they leave our home.
We are proud members and officers of the Lincolnland Dachshund Club. We are also members of The Dachshund Club of America, The National Miniature Dachshund Club and the Illinois Capitol Kennel Club.
